K1 is a carrier media for fixed film bacteria used in biofiltration processes. They have a high surface area to volume ratio and through the constant motion within the moving bed bioreactor in which they are typically used, they constantly clean themselves of dead biofilm. Our carrier elements are made in USA of 100% virgin high density polyethylene.

Nominal size of 0.35" diameter x 0.28" length with 18 external fins.
