Ozone enhances the fractionation process in several ways. Ozone is very effective at oxidizing organic compounds that tint the water providing clear water, it breaks down larger organic molecules facilitating their removal, and can be a very effective filtration device to remove fine organic silts from receiving waters.
Ozone used in the fractionation process will oxidize various bacterial and viral pathogens in treated water but it is not a disinfection process. The contact time within a foam fractionator will be a critical factor in selecting the model best for your application.
