Oceans Design has used the Praher swing check valve as an economical option to the Spears Utility Swing Check Valve, especially in systems with larger pipe dimensions. Installed between two flanges the footprint of the Praher K4 is much different than the Spears swing check. The benefits of the K4 include low pressure drop and an unique open-close visual indicator (optical pin) that indicates the valve position and allows a technician to quickly assess check valve function. Valve body is PVC, PP, PPGR (glass reinforced), and seals are EPDM or Viton. The K4 Swing Check Valve are available in sizes 3" to 10". Features include:

Flapper disc also designed with matching stiffened vanes for structural integrity during rapid closing of the closing vane
