Our GENESYS line of pumps are the result of a collaboration between MDM Inc and OCEANS DESIGN INC. Each pump has been carefully engineered specifically for the aquaculture industry. OCEANS DESIGN INC has always pursued the highest quality equipment at the highest operating efficiencies possible. Our design intent for all our pumping systems is to operate at the highest flow rates needed at the lowest head requirements possible.
The GENESYS pump line features a composite volute with a closed impeller design with no wetted metallic materials making this pump ideal for salt water facilities. The volute is formed using a BMC thermoset process yielding a high strength, stiff, and dimensionally stable volute at an economical costs. High capital costs and cost of ownership have prevented many facilities from investing in similar composite fabricated pumps. We are pleased to offer an economical solution to our customers. Genesys pumps comes standard with seal flush kits and impenetra II, non metallic pump seals.
OCEANS DESIGN INC has worked with MDM Inc to provide these highly efficient pump models with the aquaculture industry specifically in mind. All motors are TEFC, and are available in wash down duty for the most demanding applications. All pumps are salt water rated.
